This course provides the participants with an overview of the contents of Chapter 10 of the FBC- Plumbing Volume, covering Traps, Interceptors and Separators.  At the end of this course the participants will better understand the concepts and code provisions of the FBC-Plumbing volume requirements in Chapter 10, Traps, Interceptors and Separators .

This one-hour online course is designed to help the inspector and plans examiner become familiar with the terminology and specific definitions that are commonly used in the Plumbing Code.  


This eight-hour course serves as an overview of the fundamental knowledge necessary to administer and enforce the plumbing code.  Design professionals, contractors, plans examiners and inspectors attending this course will review the code provisions and underlying scientific principles addressed in this chapter of the FBC Plumbing Volume.

To complete this course, the student must have the IPC Design, Installation and Inspection Principles book published by the International Code Council (ICC), 2015.  The book is provided with your registration.
